Through my writing I have had the opportunity to share many messages with readers- some of them have become quotes that I sometimes see floating around adoption pages. So today my blog becomes a bit of a grown up picture page. I wanted to compile some of what I feel are important sentiments to me in relationship to adoption. Many of these are mine -with a few unexpected others sprinkled in. I hope you will share some of your favorites in the comments section and if you love one of mine, please let me know that too. :) Be sure you read all the way to the end, where I share what I think may be the most important messages parents can hear.
Disclaimer: I am but one person with my own experience. Adoptees are human beings, so of course our feelings and experiences vary from black to white to every shade of gray. I cannot and do not speak for everyone, but will always stand up for everyone to have a chance to speak. Please understand- all of these are my feelings and my words- your child will be your most important voice when it comes to adoption. If you take nothing else away from this blog-- let THIS be it.

Love these! Thank you so much for sharing. My husband and I finalize he adoption of our boys next month! I hope we are able to communicate to them this piece of their story in the best way. It's somewhat intimidating!
